Fabienne and John sipped their delectable cappuccino’s under the covered patio with plush blankets and warm hearts. This quaint cafe, shares special meaning to the two of them, which is why they chose this location to capture this amazing time in their lives. Not only can they see the church they will be married in through the trees from the patio, but they were also engaged here on March 30, 2015 as well! John planned the entire thing perfectly, as if it was out of a movie! Fabienne said that John has a violinist and a pianist play as he sang an Italian art song called “Morgen” (Tomorrow) by Richard Strauss to her (that he translated to English for her of course). If you hadn’t figured it out yet, John is a professional Rossini Tenor who preforms for various opera companies, he teaches private voice lessons AND one heck of a romantic! ::swoon:: They spend quite a bit of time here trying different gelato’s, enjoying the cider, and of course reminiscing about that perfect day!
Before reaching Caffee Galleria, we walked along the colorful path by Lambertville Station. The leaves were bright and gorgeous, and we were all so happy we were able to catch the fall foliage in November (which is totally hit or miss in NJ) ! The weather had it out for us, but rain will not keep us away from capturing these beautiful moments. In fact, I think it made it more romantic. There is no better way to spend a rainy day than snuggling with that special someone wrapped up in a cozy blanket and something warm in a cup!
Fabienne & John, thank you for allowing me to capture these special moments for you! I am looking forward to your amazing wedding in 2016!

When I first arrived I drove down a beautiful long drive up to a gorgeous building with stone work all around. The atmosphere is so relaxed, and did you know it Laurita Winery was named 1 of the 7 Best Drinking Spots With a View in New Jersey! I just read about it on their blog, and I can absolutely believe it! I felt like I was on vacation here.
So when Melissa told me that was where she wanted to have her engagement session, I was so excited! I had never been there and was happy to take the drive. We started the session in the vineyards, the sun was bright, and the sky was beautiful. Her red shirt just popped! It was perfect.
I think engagement sessions are my absolute favorite. I get to know a couple before they get married, and we get to have fun in a relaxed environment. Not only that, but they get an idea of of how I shoot, and how I create these beautiful images.
I would highly recommend Laurita Winery for anyone that wants a casual, relaxed but luxury experience for their engagement session. Enjoy some delicious wine from one of the most amazing winery’s here in NJ, and set out for amazing photos at sunset.

When a Bride tells me she would like her engagement session to be at two different locations, I get so excited! Engagement sessions are so much fun when they have two totally different looks. The beach is always hard though, especially when it is hours before sunset. There is nowhere to hide from the sun, it’s bright, and it’s really a huge challange. Luckily for us, we went to the Brigantine Jetty, where there are some bulk heads to hide behind. (Believe it or not, when I was a child, there was water all the way up to these bulk heads, but since then, the water has moved out, and the Jetty is now accessable on one side all the way out!) It’s definitly different from when I was a kid, but it made it a great place to take pictures when the sun is super bright! The next location was none other than the Historic Smithville Village! I mean, you can’t go wrong here! When Krista showed up with this adorable green floral skirt, it was perfection! These two are such cuties! The one thing they said was, please – no corney photos! I think they were executed pretty darn well if you ask me – and I see no “corney” photos here, just 120% cuteness!
Krista & Alek – I hope you love these photos! I sure do!!!

I love Philadelphia. Everything about this city makes me smile. On this particular engagement session, things were happening everywhere! It was a sunrise session so the city was just waking up! It was full of fresh flowers and fruit, an outside market was setting up for their day, and I was just in awe. Living in Southern New Jersey, we see a lot of things, but being in the city is just so exciting! I spend my time with this couple, walking around the city, enjoying the sights, stopping to smell the flowers, taking everything in and just making a wonderful experience of the days activities!
So In love with these images, and can’t wait to go back to Philadelphia!

I love engagement session. Especially when they include a gorgeous couple and my green couch. This engagement session started on a beautiful lake in a campground and ended on a river. I always tell my clients that the background in your images doesn’t matter, because it’s about you two. You are both the stars and that is what I will focus on. In this case, it’s like everyones dream. To be outside, with the one you love. There is nothing around but nature and what a beautiful setting it is! Serenity at it’s finest!
Amy and Sean, thank you so much for spending time with me and being so patient as I made these beautiful images for you. I hope you cherish them and smile everytime you look at them!
