This past week, I had the honor of photographing Beau, Alyson and their adorable son, George! They chose to have their Family Portraits at Stockton University, Alyson’s Alma Mater!
It’s so gorgeous and well maintained! We had such an amazing time walking around the campus and finding beautiful and interesting spots to photograph! My favorite spot was the wall with perfectly positioned flower pots. Everything was so perfectly aligned! But more important than the location, was the interaction between Mom & Son / Father & Son. Between delivering roses to his Mama, and sharing some key wrestling moves with his Daddy, I was able to see a glimpse of their family life, where time stands still for just a few moments and the only care in the world is unwinding and enjoying the moment. Babies grow up all too fast, and it’s okay to just stop, and watch them, stop and play with them, and just be there and enjoy growing up with them.
If you would like to have your Family Portraits at Stockton University, please reach out to me today to schedule your session. Stockton University has such an array of of both natural and architectural backdrops to choose from! Let’s go have fun and enjoy your Family Portraits at Stockton University!

Yey! You’re expecting! It’s time to start looking for a photographer! It’s best to schedule a lifestyle newborn session for within 1 week of your little one’s birth. Finding a photographer that you trust could take some time. So start now because finding the perfect photographer to capture beautiful memories for you and your family is so very important!
Today I had the honor of photographing the handsome Jayce Carmelo in his home for a Lifestyle Newborn Session. A Lifestyle Newborn Session is where you and baby are in the comfort of your own home, in your own environment and I come to create beautiful images for you.
A lifestyle newborn session is where I photograph them during their first week of life at home. This is a big adjustment period for all of you. You may not think about documenting these moments, however it is such a gift to have them years later to look back on. I may ask that you place them on the bed and then in their crib. You will be photographed holding your child and even changing their diaper.
It is one of those memories that we often overlook. Whether your baby is being breastfed or bottle fed, it’s a bonding moment. These moments are special and we shouldn’t just pass them by. The details are also an important part of these sessions. The way their crib looks and the ultra sound images that you have around the nursery won’t stay that way forever.
Having a professional come into your home and document these things for you with a fresh eye will help you start your little one’s legacy! As a result, you will be saving these moments for your children and what a lovely gift it is. It is definitely something they will be forever thankful for, year after year.
If you would like to schedule your Lifestyle Newborn Session, please send me an email before your baby is born, and we can figure out a plan for your session!

Tonight, I took Family Portraits at Historic Smithville Village. The little ones kept me on my toes, but you know what the best part of a family portrait is? Those candid moments in between all of the attempted, posed portraits. I say attempted, because often times we want these picture perfect moments, but life just happens. Kids need to be kids. They need to run, they need to stop and water the flowers, or pretend to anyway. They need to ride a cement duck, and they need to take time for kisses. Daddy has to tie shoes, and babies want to run toward keys when they jingle. Photo ops with your Great Grandparents, become split seconds in time where these happy babies just want to look at them, and play with them, and smile because they’re being held by some of the most amazing people on Earth. These moments, may not be posed, but they’re real, they’re raw, and they’re a part of our legacy. Each second that goes by, these babies will be closer to school, and sports, and dances, and all the things that kids do when they grow older. Take the time to stop… and enjoy your babies. It’s okay to let them run!
I love to take Family Portraits at Historic Smithville Village. I live not even 5 minutes away. I adore the sunlight that comes through the trees at 7pm on a cool spring evening, and I love how the flowers are just the perfect distraction for the kids. It’s quiet and peaceful, and is just perfect for a family session. If you are looking for the perfect location, you’ve found it! Now we just need to get your session booked, so you too can document a piece of your legacy!

Family Beach Photography in Longport, NJ is always my favorite! Longport is such an amazing small town. Not a lot of people know about it and the families that visit keep to themselves. The beaches are always clean, and it’s not one of those super crowded shore towns, so having your photos taken on the beach during the summer in Longport, aren’t a hassle! They’re peaceful and very relaxing! Not only that, there are SO many amazing things to do at the Shore in the summer! You can make an entire family evening out of your session. There is Lucy The Elephant, a historic landmark in Margate just a few streets over, as well as some of the very best restaurants! To name a few, some of my favorites are Ventura’s Greenhouse Restaurant in Margate, Steve & Cookie’s By the Bay also in Margate and Domenico’s in Ventnor!
Creating memories with your images should be the top priority! Before that of course, you should always chat with your photographer on what to wear! There are so many options and I can guide you on what works best for your family, and of course, you can wear those stunning outfits out on the town, to dinner (and of course, the boardwalk!)
Summer time is a super popular time for beach portraits, so if you would like to schedule your Family Beach Photography in Longport, NJ reach out to me as soon as possible!
