A wonderful photographer created the Hot Cocoa Sessions, and it broke the internet! With so much demand for it, I decided to try them myself! I am excited to announce that Bokeh Love Photography will be offering Hot Cocoa Mini Sessions in Galloway, NJ. Rain or shine, the weather will not matter! You will be safe in my studio and you will get to have your child photographed in a big cup of cocoa!
These mini sessions are $180 which includes 5 digital images of your choice from an online proofing gallery. You will be able to purchase the entire gallery for $99 as well. Click here to book your session!
The hot cocoa is a mixture of warm water and hot cocoa mix. I have two different sized cups so I can accommodate sitters (babies who can sit on their own) up to 3 or 4 years of age.
Your child should wear a diaper cover and bathing suit. The reason for this is because we want them to look adorable in a super cute outfit (I recommend a red/white bathing suit!) but also for their safety. You don’t want them to actually bathe in the Cocoa, so covering them up will prevent any infections. Your child’s safety is our number one priority! Here is an adorable outfit from Amazon!
Yes! Between sessions the cup will be dumped & sanitized. A new batch of warm cocoa will be made for the next client. Keeping things clean and sanitized is very important to us to protect you, especially during COVID! We will also be wearing masks during your session and there will be a buffer between your session and the next, to allow for you to clean up and leave before the next client arrives.

It honestly felt like I was meeting up with two old friends. We just clicked automatically. During their consultation we began to plan their engagement session. They wanted to climb ontop of a building to capture the sunset. Later on, unfortunatly plans changed. They did however end up taking my husband and I off roading with their amazing dog, Ruger in their jeep! It was probably the most fun engagement session, and most down to earth experience I had ever had. Lauren and Justin weren’t about frills, or anything fancy. They wanted something real. Their dog, was probably the most amazing part of the day. He was like an extremely well behaved child who went with the flow and did what he was told. They made a sign to go around his neck for their save the dates, and he actually stood there like a handsome little boy. Here are some photos from their engagement session:
So for their wedding day, I knew I was going to have an amazing time!
It’s so perfect here. The historic towne of Smithville is quaint, and just set up for photos. It’s gorgeous, and so are they!
I have to say, that Lauren and Justin, are such an amazing couple. I know I talk about couples in love all the time, but they really are so much in love, it’s hard not to get emotional around them. Their wedding had me a bawling mess. So many tears, all day long. So many moments where you couldn’t help but cry because what was happening was just so beautiful. Weddings like these, are key reminders of why I do what I do, and why I am so passionate about capturing these moments.
I could chat all day about how perfect they are, and how amazing their day was, but I am just going to show you the photos.
Lauren and Justin, thank you SO much for trusting me to capture your day, and for allowing me to be there and enjoy these moments with you! I wish you nothing but love and success in your future together!
xoxo,
Lauren
I love the Stockton Seaview, and love that it is only down the street from my home! I hadn’t met Dana until I walked into the hotel room on the day of her wedding. When I saw her for the first time, she was stunning! Dana was absolutely glowing in love! Their wedding at The Stockton Seaview in Galloway was classic and beautiful. The bridal suit is just set up for weddings. Gorgeous linens, finely upholstered chairs, and rich colors throughout! The amount of window light was perfect for photos, with the sheer curtains and delicate drapery.
Dana’s dress was adorned with beading and crystals and her veil was the icing on the cake! She was so gorgeous! And those flowers! Take my breath away! The most amazing flowers I have ever seen! Drew and his groomsmen were handsome in grey! Grey is probably my new favorite for suits because of this wedding. The bridesmaids of course had the most amazing black dresses with gray shawls. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t obsessed with gray and black.
The ceremony took place on The Stock Seaview’s great lawn. It’s probably my favorite place for a ceremony, because you get to see the gorgeous architecture in the background with beautiful topiary’s and lots of green grass! I love to capture the surroundings of the wedding, to bring back memories of the location they chose. Not only that, but the ballroom is my favorite! For their first dance, I was taken back and in tears at how in love they were. They way he held her, embracing her in his arms. It was like a fairytale! The beautiful chandelier with the soft lighting of the room. It was perfection! If you want to feel what it’s like to be a princess, The Stockton Seaview is the place for you! But don’t take my word for it, take a look at this amazing wedding for yourself, you’ll be impressed!

It’s not everyday you get to take pictures in a place that you grew up! I love Patiot Park, however it wasn’t always called that. When I was a kid, we called it the “The Municipal Complex” or, as us kids referred to it as – “The Pit”. Thats right. It was a giant hole. We were told it would be an ice skating rink one day. That idea obviouslly fell through, but today its beautiful. There is a gorgeous lake that is stocked with fish for families to come together and do some relaxing, kick back and teach your kids how to fish. It’s a beautiful place with benches to honor your loved ones who have passed. They even have a K9 memorial, which always takes my breath away. Not only that, but the playground is right there, and back in my day (dusts the shoulder off) it was a WOOD playground. Now it’s really awesome, has super bright colors, it’s just a greay place for family!
So on this particular day, I got to photo a beautiful family, (with a super smart Mom!) Yep, she was the winner in my “Guess what is it contest!”. I shot a ring on something that noone could guess! I had guesses like an ice cube, a water filled zip lock bag. Nope – all wrong. She was the ONLY one who guessed a gazing ball! So, she got a free session!
So here it is! She has SUCH a perfect family! Enjoy!
