How is he already 4 years old?  When I look back at my clients and realized I have photographed their children since they were babies, I really get a chance to sit back and think about how much I really do love what I do. Amanda and Marc were once a Bride and Groom of mine and they have become long term clients and friends! I have watched their family grow and I have photographed each one of their children from their newborn session. The trust I am given with this special task, is beyond anything you could ever imagine.

Welcoming a new member into the family is a joyous occasion that deserves to be celebrated and cherished. Luke’s newborn session was perfection! From the cozy wraps to the family portraits, every detail was carefully curated to remember the essence of this beautiful moment in their lives.

The Drabkoski family’s portraits (at the beginning of the newborn session) was a heartwarming moment filled with laughter, love, and the undeniable charm of baby Luke and his two older brothers. afterward, the cozy studio was adorned with soft blankets, delicate props, and a warm ambiance. This created the perfect backdrop for a session that would etch these memories into the family’s heart forever.

Luke, the newest addition to the Drabkoski family, stole the spotlight with his adorable expressions.

My favorite pictures are those where Luke is dressed in a vibrant yellow wrap, with a little lion in tow. He exuded strength, charm and warmth.

The session wasn’t just about Luke. The session was an opportunity to capture the entire Drabkoski family in a series of heartwarming family portraits. From the proud parents beaming with joy to the siblings eagerly welcoming their newest brother. Every moment was a visual narrative of the family’s love and connection.

It’s about capturing the tiny details that make each baby unique. To Luke’s tiny fingers and tiny toes were documented with care and precision. One of the first things I get asked after a session is booked, is “What should we wear!” Usually I point them in the direction of pinterest and tell them to start searching for style boards within that season. Sometimes it works out really well, and other times it leaves my clients dazed and confused. I’ve actually had clients show up with quite a few outfits in their car and ask me what they think. Instead of wasting time looking through clothing during a session, I try my very best to let them know what I think would work best for what they’re trying to achieve in their images. The decision to create my own style boards was out of pure frustration because I couldn’t find what I wanted to for my clients to look at. I wanted to put my own sense of style into it, and I wanted it to be branded with my logo, and some of my wording on it to let them know what I was thinking while I put the board together.

Tonight, I decided to look at Baby Gap, Gap Kids, Gap, and Banana Republic. All of these stores are linked together so when you look at them on the Internet, you can flip through each store. They’re also connected to Old Navy, Pepperlime, and Athleta. It’s such a user friendly website and I urge you to go check it out. What I liked about these stores is that I could make boards for babies, little kids, maternity AND engagement without having to do TOO much searching. The cloths are stylish and up to date, fun and funky, and simply adorable. Basically, I’m in love! Also, these things won’t break the bank. They’re perfectly affordable and will make your portraits look like you’ve had a professional stylist!
