Love isn’t perfect. Everyone knows that. Making the decision to love someone is probably the most difficult decision in the entire world, so to do it, takes strength, vulnerability, compassion, and giving someone else your own heart in hopes that they protect it. Barbara and Gary show each of those qualities each and every single day. Sure, they fight, who doesn’t? What’s different about these two, is they never go to bed angry, they don’t even leave the house angry. No matter how upset they are with each other, they always make sure the other one knows – they are loved, and they seal it with a kiss. I have never in my life met such a special couple. The first time I remember meeting them, it was total chaos, and then out of that chaos the entire kitchen stopped spinning, so Gary could have a few seconds to lean in, and kiss his wife on the lips, just to say “i love you, i will see you tonight”… and off to work he went.
This year, they are celebrating 37 years of love. 37 years of chaos. 37 years of happiness. 37 years of joy. 37 years of togetherness. and 37 years of dedication. I admire Barbara and Gary, even when things get crazy, I KNOW that they are perfect for each other, and that their bond will never be less strong than yesterday. They will continue to grow closer, and continue to get to know each other, and continue to find out their likes and dislikes. They will never stray and they will always walk hand in hand into the wind together. Kisses will never stop, and blanket snuggles will ALWAYS be a thing. And of course, getting dolled up for an Anniversary Photoshoot will ALWAYS be a possibility!
I wish them the best of luck, love and happiness from this day to their last day. I am so happy to be a part of their family so I can watch them grow old together, because after all, isn’t that everyones dream? Cheers to them, they are certainly living it!
If you are celebrating an anniversary, and you would like to book an anniversary photoshoot, please email me! I would love to celebrate with you, and to create and capture beautiful images for you and your family to love and adore!
Don’t laugh at me, but… until this session I had no idea that Daniel Tiger was the new Mr. Rogers! I had never watched the show before this, and of course as field research I sat myself down on the couch to cuddle up with my favorite blanket to watch Daniel Tigers Neighborhood. I felt my childhood coming back through this little cartoon tiger. It was Mr. Rogers all over again! (And it was AWESOMEEE) I can totally see how this was his favorite character and why Mom and Dad wanted to have a Daniel Tigers Neighborhood themed cake smash! What a good memory this will be for him when he is all grown up! I know Mr. Rogers has a special place in my heart! This was an extremely fun Cake Smash Photography session near Atlantic County NJ!
The balloons were from Party Starters, the most amazing family owned party store in Galloway (check them out, they’re super friendly), and I love supporting small businesses! It helps with so much, and allows families to be close to each other while providing quality service to local customers. Also instead of your hard earned money going to a large corporation, it goes to helping a family live their dream of owning a business. Yey for supporting local!
Designing cake smashes are so much fun! To see some of the other cake smashes I’ve designed, check out the links below!

Mini sessions are a BIG DEAL. They’re a big deal because I do not offer them throughout the year. It’s a great way to get in front of the camera for a few minutes, get some AMAZING photos of your kids, your family, or even if yourself! I have decided to offer them this fall as harvest mini sessions. I styled the stage to be pumpkins, straw, corn stalks, an old fence, and a wood floor. I love these, I love how they came out, and I love how much fun it was to design it. Styled shoots make me super happy! I love them. If I could do them ALL THE TIME, I would, easily, in a heartbeat! I wanted to incorporate some white pumpkins. I dont know why, but I feel like they are just so chic, and fancy. And luckily, one of the little ladies that showed up had on WHITE with CHEETAH! So stinkin’ adorable! I can’t stand it. I do however, pride myself knowing that my clients are by far the best dressed, ever. Way to go everyone, keep it coming! I adore the attention you give your families. It makes my job super easy! So, check out what I did this fall, and remember this will happen again NEXT FALL! (Ya know, and christmas too!)
Today I had the honor of photographing a beautiful girl who is very near and dear to my heart; my niece Gabrielle. This is a very special occasion for her. Not every girl gets to wear the dress of her dreams, but she does. She went to an event at Rissy Roo’s where her and her mother had a winning ticket! That’s right. They won the door prize. That door prize was to pick out the prom dress of her choice! So, this beautiful dress, is the dress that Gabrielle decided that she would like to wear, and she wears it very well! She is absolutly beautiful, perfectly perfect, and everything I could ever imagine her to be and more. I am so happy for her, and so proud and honored that she allowed me to drive her around, run in the woods, stand in the dirt, smile, and pose. She understands my logic, and just goes with the flow. For that, I thank her and I am so excited to present her and her (our) family with beautiful photos that will help her remember this wonderful event. I hope you had an amazing time at prom sweet Gabi
Gabi getting her hair & makeup done her her mother, seriously, what a treat!
A beautiful section of the woods that had beautiful ivy climbing up the trees!
Seriously, this treelined road was more than perfect!
And then this happened.
