One thing I love, is when my clients trust me! One hour before sunset, is the ABSOLUTE BEST time to take pictures. Especially on the beach! You get natural, even, beautiful lighting. The sun is setting and I can control my settings PERFECTLY. It’s amazing and when everything goes perfect, my clients get beautiful photographs to print, hang on their walls and remember forever. This may be in my top favorite sessions of the season.

I’ve decided to enter one of my images into a contest! I am a WPPI Member (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) and being a member has some perks! You can enter contests that are only available to members. That is awesome, because your images are in a contest alongside other amazing photographers! Right now, I have entered my images in the details second of the contest, which is judged by the actual judges. They also allow you to enter those images into the “People’s Choice” section which is a different contest alltogether. It’s for the people to vote on their favorite images. The prizes are not as high, but it’s so much fun and nice to see what the people think are the best images. I am really really excited because so far out of dozens of pages, one of my images is showing up on the FIRST page with 30 votes. I am coming in at 8th place so far and I am just literally blown away that I’m even on the front page. If you haven’t casted your vote yet, I would absolutley appreciate it if you did. It would mean the world to me if I could win this, but there are so many awesome images, I wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t win. I love that I live so close to the ocean. Growing up this close has definitly spoiled me. I will probably never live anywhere else. There is just something about the way it smells, how great it is to put your toes in the sand, and breath the fresh sea air! It’s just perfect. So why not take your portraits right here on the beach? It’s the perfect excuse to get dressed up and enjoy the ocean with your family! The Santoto family came out and had an amazing summer day right here in Margate! I have never met such a happy family and look at their outfits! I am loving the blue and white!

I am SO excited about this summer’s boudoir marathon! Back in January we had an amazing marathon at the Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City. I went ahead and got a suite for the night and it was PERFECT! Having the extra space to get hair and makeup done, while keeping the bed area clean and uncluttered for photos was amazing! Now, it’s summertime and what a better idea than to have a boudoir session at one of the most amazing suites ever? If you don’t know about the House of Blues Suite you are truly missing out! It’s pretty pricey but totally worth it! It has a very eclectic feel and its just perfect for a boudoir marathon! We will have pink champagne, munchies, girly music and a lot of fun! I can’t wait, it’s only in a few weeks, but its going to be EPIC!

If you’ve thought about having a boudoir session done, THIS is the time to do it! I only offer these two times a year (one winter, and one summer)!
