Fall family sessions are my favorite.

The weather starts to change, somehow we get all of this energy to rake the lawn, pops of color and comfy flannels call our names and FORCE us to put them on! SOCKS! Who doesn’t love socks, and hoodies, and those super comfy, fuzzy boots… yes you know the ones, the ones that you can stick your toes inside and wear as slippers. Watching movies with ALL of the blankets, and waking up in the morning and making a big cup of hot coffee!

Yes, autumn is here, and it’s time for Fall family sessions. Because, why not? Your children are older, they’re so cute and of course you want to dress them up in the most adorable fall attire you can find. These images make beautiful wall pieces, but most importantly… this is a tradition!

These special sessions are something to look forward to! You’ve made it through the summer, your kids are in a new grade at school! They’re entering a new chapter of their lives and you want to document this. It’s special, and you’re creating and documenting these memories that they will love looking back on as adults. Then they can carry on the same tradition with their own children. Be proud of that, you did that!

Bokeh Love has been photographing Fall family sessions for over 10 years. Whether it’s a mini session or a full session dedicated to capturing those natural smiles and giggles, you’ll be happy you made this investment!

Happy February Everyone! It’s that time of the month, where we are officially ready to celebrate love, dress our kids in the cutest outfits, and of course get photos of our littles to capture the moment!  So, with all of that, I am so so so excited to share with you all, something SUPER special! I am offering Valentine Mini Sessions on this FABULOUS wall of greenery in my home studio in Galloway, NJ! It took me a while to put together, and for good reason! It is SO versatile, I can use this wall for so many different sets. I can’t wait to start using it! But, more about the Valentine Mini Sessions… The details are below:

Valentine Mini Sessions:

>>February 4th & 6th, 2019<<
-10 minute sessions
-3 Digital Images Included
-Online Proofing Gallery

ONLY $55! (+tax)

Let’s talk online proofing gallery: Why is it awesome?
The online proofing gallery doesn’t just deliver 3 images. You will receive a nice sized gallery of images to choose from. So, if you get 10-20 images, you will have to find your favorite images, but thats great, because you are not getting something you do not love! Also, if you find more than 3 that you like, you can absolutely purchase additional images, or purchase the entire gallery for an additional cost.

Why is it great to book mini sessions?
Mini sessions are a great way to document your child’s growth as they get older. Maybe a regular session isn’t your cup of tea, maybe it is. But, you’re saving for that epic spring family session in the most beautiful park down the street. Mini sessions are quick, fast, and your kids won’t lose interest! It’s especially good for the littles, roughly ages 1-10.

Tonight, I took Family Portraits at Historic Smithville Village. The little ones kept me on my toes, but you know what the best part of a family portrait is? Those candid moments in between all of the attempted, posed portraits. I say attempted, because often times we want these picture perfect moments, but life just happens. Kids need to be kids. They need to run, they need to stop and water the flowers, or pretend to anyway. They need to ride a cement duck, and they need to take time for kisses. Daddy has to tie shoes, and babies want to run toward keys when they jingle. Photo ops with your Great Grandparents, become split seconds in time where these happy babies just want to look at them, and play with them, and smile because they’re being held by some of the most amazing people on Earth. These moments, may not be posed, but they’re real, they’re raw, and they’re a part of our legacy. Each second that goes by, these babies will be closer to school, and sports, and dances, and all the things that kids do when they grow older. Take the time to stop… and enjoy your babies. It’s okay to let them run!

I love to take Family Portraits at Historic Smithville Village. I live not even 5 minutes away. I adore the sunlight that comes through the trees at 7pm on a cool spring evening, and I love how the flowers are just the perfect distraction for the kids. It’s quiet and peaceful, and is just perfect for a family session. If you are looking for the perfect location, you’ve found it! Now we just need to get your session booked, so you too can document a piece of your legacy!
