Annalyn and Hector’s wedding was a harvest chic celebration that took place at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City, NJ. The couple exchanged their vows at the beautiful St. James Roman Catholic Church in Ventnor, NJ, surrounded by their friends and family.
She and Hector embraced the harvest chic theme with crystals bringing positivity, energy and good luck to their wedding day. Annalyn also wore a sun and moon on her earrings and skulls on her engagement ring. So many other amazing decor adding to the atmosphere of the night before Halloween. They also made sure the kids had special baskets to keep them entertained!
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests made their way to the reception, which was held in the Vineyard Ballroom at Renault Winery. The room was decorated with crystals, candles, and other harvest chic elements, such as candles and beautiful florals creating the perfect atmosphere for a night of enjoyment.
The reception was filled with dancing, laughter, and celebration. The couple shared their first dance as husband and wife to a romantic song, and the guests showered them with love and congratulations for their money dance where friends and family pay to dance with the bride and groom, and that money helps them start their new lives together!
The newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a delicious meal and the most amazing atmosphere surrounded with love. The couple also had a beautiful wedding cake, which was decorated with the same flowers from the brides bouquet and topped with the best cake topper that read “Till Death”.
It was a truly magical night, and Annalyn and Hector were overjoyed to be surrounded by their loved ones as they began their new life together. Of course, they had to finish the evening with a night portrait with their wedding party that featured a champagne bottle and some creative lighting to make the most epic of images for them! Annalyn and Hector also enjoyed Renault Winery’s beautiful ambient lighting throughout the property, and we were able to create stunning night portraits that are simply flawless.
Overall, Annalyn and Hector’s harvest chic wedding at Renault Winery was a beautiful and unforgettable celebration. The stunning natural setting of Renault Winery, delicious food, and perfect atmosphere all combined to make it a perfect celebration of the couple’s love. Annalyn and Hector were overjoyed to have had such a wonderful day. Thank you to both for trusting me with their memories! Cheers to many more wonderful years!

Its fall! The leaves are changing colors and your children are getting bigger. You want to document this season to remember how cute they look in those brown corduroy pants that stinking adorable pumpkin sweater! Because next year, they probably won’t allow you to dress them, so savor this moment. So the question is, do you book a mini session or a full session?
You need to first take a look at your family, and see what would work best for them. If your children like props, and love a good theme, but get bored easily – then perhaps a mini session is your best bet! Mini sessions are usually themed, and can last anywhere from 10-15 minutes.
A full session would allow your family up to 1 full hour to walk around a location of your choice. Your family will be able to play, laugh, have fun and make a really great memory out of this. Your photographer (me!) would walk with you, capture fun candids of your family enjoying each other, and pose you when we get to the really amazing spots. Some people think that the 1 hour is too long for a child, but, when you really think about it, we aren’t photographing for that entire hour, your children are running, laughing and having a great time!
Both sessions will allow you to obtain beautiful images of your family, that’s no doubt! It really depends on you and your family and what you are looking for. With all of that said, let’s jump into some photo examples of a fall mini session and a full session below, and don’t forget to check out our list of mini sessions for the 2020-2021 year here, and to book your full session click here!
Family Portraits at Weymouth Furnace? Yes please! Weymouth furnace is like a fairy tale, right out of the book! It feels magical here, like a princess will just pop right up from around the stone structures. Wait a minute, are those princesses right there? Yes! Why, I believe there are two little princesses right in this blog post haha.
I have been photographing Portraits at Weymouth Furnace and this family for years. It’s only right that we finally planned a session here. Every year I see them grow bigger and more mature! It’s a beautiful thing to see their smiles and I love when they recognize me and get excited for their portraits!
This year, they decided to have their Family Portraits at Weymouth Furnace. It looks like it is directly from their very own story book! Which suits them, since they are in fact little princesses. (They have princess wands!) Of course no trip to the furnace would be complete without some splashing in the water. Just a word of caution though, you should never go in the water here without being with a tube party! (tubes help you stay afloat!) It’s very dangerous and you must heed the signs posted that say “no wading!” It is for your own safety! With all of that said, this location is absolutely gorgeous, and the girls found a natural water run off to splash in at the end of their session.

It’s the Historic Weymouth Furnace! “The Weymouth Forge land was purchased in 1800 from the West New Jersey Society by five partners headed by George Ashbridge and Charles Shoemaker. In 1801, the State granted permission to dam the Great Egg Harbor River “for accommodation of iron works and other waterworks…”. Iron production began in 1802.” Click here to continue reading about the Weymouth Furnace and add it to your plans when you visit the area!

Last week, I photographed a romantic Tuckerton Engagement Session! I remember when I met with Rachael when she first started planning her wedding. She said her amazing fiance, Chris is letting her do whatever she wants for their wedding! When I hear words like that, I just KNOW that he’s a good guy! I didn’t meet him until the session, but from all of the amazing things Rachael had said about him, he had to be amazing! Well, as you can see from the images below, Chris makes Rachael laugh, all the time! So far, he’s got two amazing qualities of a perfect husband! Rachael and Chris are so in love, and it definitely shows. Throughout the entire session, I just kept thinking about how much fun their wedding will be next year! From the very beginning, I knew I would love them, and I was so right! We went back and forth trying to plan the most amazing engagement session. Rachael wanted beach, but then I found out that Chris owned a boat. So, it was clear that we had to take a few photos on the boat! Earlier that day Chris had gone crabbing, and it was our luck that we found a baby crab on the beach! I had to put it in Rachael’s hand, and she probably cursed me the entire ride home for doing it, but that photos though! It tells the story of their life, and these are beautiful memories that they will be able to tell for the rest of their lives. I also had them write before hand, letters to each other, on why they fell in love with one another. I have to say, I was laughing and tearing up behind the camera. They are the perfect combination of love and laughter, and let me tell you, that is the kind of relationship you want to have, because you can grow old with each other, in this beautiful life, and keep each other happy until the very end! Side by side, partners in crime, it’s the best combination of marriage and friendship.
Rachael and Chris, thank you so much for taking me along on your Tuckerton Engagement Session! I am SO excited for your wedding at the Carriage House next year! You are going to make a stunning bride and one handsome groom!
